CONGRATS TO SHEL - YOU ARE THE WINNER OF OUR MOM GIVEAWAY!!!
Ok Mom's I want to know just how together you have it! Do you get up in the morning BEFORE the kids and shower, get dressed, etc. Or do you wait until the school drop off/nap time and make it your first priority any spare moment you get? I'll tell you I do not make it my first priority EVER. And that's sad....I'm a hot mess and I own it ;) I always tell myself I will look better, get dressed, and look put together. It just never happens....
So what do I do with that free time? I'm blogging, designing and getting you great giveaways!!! So tell me what you do with your free time and you will be entered to win a special treat just for you! Hmmm....maybe spa related for your "me" time. It's a surprise and this giveaway will end Feb 5th....
To enter: just leave a comment and tell me what you do/don't do to pull it together and any other helpful tips you may have for our readers! Don't be shy....gotta let it all hang out ;)
Good Luck!

I get up before the kids are up to check my email and get my computer stuff done. LOL, then I wait for nap time before I take my shower and get ready for the day. I've got my priorities straight don't I???? :)

If I have class I throw myself together right when I wake up (literally throw) and days I have nothing to do...lets just say showers are optional and pjs are a MUST! Also can I say that your baby is the cutest?
ReplyDeleteI work second shift so the kids are usually (hopefully) sounds asleep when I get home from work. That's my me-time: sometimes I take a bubble bath uninterrupted or I read or surf the internet with my itunes going and my headphones on.

let's see. i go to school full time and work more than parttime. so i dont have much free time.. i shower with the baby [6 weeks old, Jennicka] or with her in the bathroom, in her bouncer. i do my make up and hair with her in my lap or next to me. i do my online nonsense with her next to me. most of the time i do homework while shes next to me; sometimes when she is asleep. when she sleeps, i sleep. i believe that there is no such thing as too much sleep.

I do actually get up before mt daughter to shower...other wise I will NEVER get in...then once she's up it's no stopping til nap time. then that's my time! I usually end up cleaning the house- I'm totally OCD!, laundry or getting dinner going or possibly cleaning the kitchen for the 20th time since breakfast!....the few minutes I get uninterupted I LOVE to scrapbook! But I don't get much time between hubby & daughter & dog!!!!
ReplyDeleteFree time? People have free time?
ReplyDeleteNo, seriously, I use the time my Little one is is sleeping or "busy" to shower (without my sweet daughter peeking around the shower curtain, smiling up at me), eat, read, visit and post here, and occasionally tackle a cleaning project that I can't do when she's awake (I'm not the best house-keeper so that's rare LOL).
Alexis-
ReplyDeleteThanks for hunting me down about winning the random giveaway. My email is (RachelLenda at comcast dot net)
Sorry I didn't check back I did not bookmark your blog and couldn't remember the name. But will bookmark it now.
As for how I get my shower in lately my two year old loves showers so she jumps in with me. Not the most relaxing time, however at least I know she is not getting into trouble and we both get clean.
Looking forward to my surprise.
