Primary Care

MOM RANT - The other day I finally joined the world of "grown ups"and went to see a primary care doctor.  When I arrive they decided to switch my new doctor (whom I've never met) to a different doctor.  I haven't even finished filling out the paperwork when a nurse whisks me into a room.  So I'm thinking this will be a snap to get in and out of here!  WRONG.  I sit and wait for the "new" doctor for an HOUR.  I am so stealing the magazine I just read from cover to cover!  I just know the minute I do anything (like pass gas) get on the phone or leave to go to the bathroom she'll come into the room.  It's always the way.  So that gives me an idea...

I'm sitting here in a johnny (freezing) and writing this blog post.  I wish I had my laptop ;)  If I run out of paper I'm going to use some blank lab reports.  There is plenty of paper in here!  I should've been using all this time wisely and creatively instead of fuming!  Hmmm there is hovering outside my door.  Figures it's her....now that I am doing something else.

What do you do when you get stuck somewhere with nothing to do?  Are you the type to plan ahead and bring your ipod or blackberry (I don't have a blackberry) or do you always stash a juicy book in your huge mom bag?  Share your experience with us in our comments below!

School vacations are upon us and like I mentioned before spring is almost here! Even though it is currently snowing in my backyard I'm dreaming about taking the kids to Disney in a couple of weeks. Here are my favs, click on the pictures to take you shopping for these outfits and more!

SPRING CLEANING

Oh yea it feels good to get rid of all the CLUTTER around here.  I've been chipping away at it (slowly) but everyday I find something to get rid of, donate or just finally put away.  It does feel good.  My good deed of the day was to drop a bag of clothing in the donation box in town.  

My son says "They take clothes and shoes....did we give them any shoes?" We didn't have any shoes to give but lots of great clothes that someone else could wear or even gift...

Spring is coming...I just know it!  I love the spring. For me it is a time of renewal and rebirth.  I always feel most creative in the spring and it takes me through the summer and fall.  Then  I hibernate and become depressed in the winter.  But now I have something to look forward to!
