HAPPY EASTER

Happy Easter!  How did you spend yours?  I stayed home and cleaned.  What fun LOL.  I have new pictures of the kids to share and some great spring clothes to tell you about so stay tuned for the new posts!  I will admit I've been in a bit of a SAD slump (seasonal affective disorder) and have just been de-cluttering the house and organizing.  I am so ready for the spring!  I know lots of moms and creative people are just starting to come out of their shells so stay with us we're here and we have some things to share this week including an interesting article on your little picky eaters at home!

ALERT : NEW AIRLINE RULES ABOUT CAR SEATS ALL PARENTS MUST READ

MOM RANT - Did anyone know that the airlines wants a confirmation that your carseat is airplane safe? Is this a new rule that was implemented as of March? Why are the airlines NOT telling us until we are already on the plane?! And what are they looking for exactly? A sticker or if you still have the booklet that comes with your car seat (which luckily I left mine hanging from it). While trying to board a flight home from Disney last week they wouldn't let us onto the plane without seeing the printed words "airplane safe". My husband is holding the baby, car seats and bags and the crew refuse to let us sit (we're in the first row) and get out of other people's way to board and get settled with their kids. We are flying from Orlando, and there were tons of kids on the plane!
The man flight attendant tried to rip the seat from my husband's hand looking for this sticker! We explain it's in the book and we know where it is can we just move out of the way to let people by and we'll show it to him. "No I cannot let you onto the plane until I see it." Lets just say things got a little ugly after that....and a supervisor came to issue a warning.
So parents make sure you either visit the website of the carseat manufactor to get a sticker, make your own or carry your original book for proof your car seats are airplane safe!!! They should tell you this BEFORE you even board the plane. We were flying Air Tran and I will be writing a letter. Traveling with 2 kids is stressful enough....
